Jessica is a single mother with two children, Janai (8) and Jaden (9). The home where they live was passed down to her by Jessica’s parents. Unfortunately because her father was ill when he gave her the house, Jessica also inherited a myriad of deferred maintenance issues with the house. She works full-time as a dispatcher in the evenings and makes enough to support her children and live paycheck to paycheck. She cannot afford to fix what might be her most important investment.

Jessica has gone to countless meetings and filled out stacks of paperwork, only to be told her repairs are too extensive to take on, or she is not qualified for assistance since she is neither a senior citizen nor disabled.  Her predicament is unresolved but not for lack of trying. Jessica needs our help.
